The Effects of the Consumption Society
35cmx60cmx20cm, 2018, Mixed Media
As the title suggests, this work represents the negative consequences of the consumption society. Animals are often the victims when it comes to pollution. In this mixed media artwork, a plastic bag, can, broken earphones and other junk are stuck in the antlers of the stag. Natural products have been combined with ‘junk’ to create a contrast within the sculpture. Pinecones and clay were used in making the head of the stag. Branches and wax were used to create the antlers.

The Anxious and the Ruthless
10cmx12cmx12cm, 2019, Ceramics
The inner conflict between anxious thoughts and self-hate is represented with this abstract sculpture. There is a protective aspect within the self-hate as well as being a blockage to the inner child. This work shows the balance between both inner worlds.
